Ressu didn’t pass the gundog working test as we tried it for the first time yesterday. He retrieved the seagulls very nicely from the sea and also the first crow on the land. Then he clearly didn’t understand what I waited from him and didn’t go far enough to get scent of rest of the crows. I must blame myself for the failure as I haven’t trained retrieving unmotivated retrieves practically at all.
As whole I still think the test was quite promising and we’ll make a new try next spring.
