Kultainennoutaja – Kennel Mistdawn

Ressu didn’t pass the gundog working test as we tried it for the first time yesterday. He retrieved the seagulls very nicely from the sea and also the first crow on the land. Then he clearly didn’t understand what I waited from him and didn’t go far enough to get scent of rest of the crows. I must blame myself for the failure as I haven’t trained retrieving unmotivated retrieves practically at all.

As whole I still think the test was quite promising and we’ll make a new try  next spring.

Both the looks and the content of our site is going through a major update. From now on all content will be in finnish, swedish and english.

Elsa and Ressu were shown for the first time  Aug 8th at Turku Summer Dog Show. They both got Exc. and were second in their classes. We are very pleased .

After the show we have begun training Ressu for the gun dog ability test and he is showing great potential.

There has been no pictures  of Ressu standing in this site. Here’s one, untrimmed country boy, but you can see heäs nicely built. I hope he would grow a litle bit more!
